Halloween


Halloween was so much fun this year! Obviously, it was Brody's first, and we made it a lot of fun!! The Friday before Halloween we went to Schnepf Farms with the family. We all met at my parents house and carved pumpkins before we went. Ya, I forgot to take pictures of the finished pumpkins, but you can look at Kristen or Micaelas because they have them.








Brody sat and watched for a bit until he got bored..


Then...Brody watched Charlie Brown.



After we finished we all piled into my dads work van so that all of us could drive together.

We stopped at Burger King for dinner, where my dad got Brody a crown. Brody kept the crown on and just smiled. It was so cute!


Then we went to Schnepf Farms! It was a blast! We went on the haunted train, rode huge bikes, went on those swinging swings, went to the corn maze, goofy golfed and other fun things.






Then Saturday night, we went to our wards trunk or treat. It was a lot of fun to hang out with everyone from the ward.

Halloween we had my family over for a little party. We made sloppy joe's, carved pumpkins, played pool, handed out candy and of course played with Brody!

Adam and I dressed up as football players and Brody was a football.

I hope that everyone else had a fun Halloween! I am so excited for the holiday season and for all the family to come for Thanksgiving. It will be amazing.

My Little Man

Here are some pictures that I have found in the past month and a half of Brody.

When I was in Utah, Heather mentioned how she used to put Cameron in the middle of the train so that he would get some 'tummy time.' I told Adam about it and Adam set up a train that he has. Brody loves it. Although, now that he is rolling over it doesn't work as well since he rolls and hits the train off the track.

Brody is Eating Solid Food

When Brody and I went in for his four month appointment, the doctor informed us that we should start feeding him solids, but only rice cereal. I was so excited to be able to start this. I thought that Adam could feed him so they could have some bonding time.

Well... That was a failure. Not only did he not love it like I imagined, he hated it! He would take bites of it and then spit it out, while making a disgusted face.

Brody has improved eating his rice cereal and is now actually eating it! I feed him in the morning when he is the happiest and I have learned to completely undress him, slowly I am figuring out what works best! Although, he is still a complete mess when he finishes but doesn't seem to mind it as much.


From today.. much better and somewhat happy by the end!

He cracks me up though because some mornings he will get in silly moods and blow bubbles into his cereal as I am putting the spoon in his mouth. The cereal goes all over but we both just laugh (I can't help it, its so cute!)

Daddy's Boy



Brody is starting to get into that clingy stage! Which is somewhat fun for me because he always wants me to hold him and take him wherever I go. And I love it!! He is just so cute and I am so attached to him that I love that he is so crazy about me :)








Although, one person who seems to always outrank me is Adam! Brody is CRAZY about him! Brody wakes up every morning when Adam is getting ready and when I bring Brody into the bedroom to see Adam, Brody gets ecstatic! He always has a huge smile and just watches him the whole time. Then the moment Adam leaves Brody cries and cries, it takes FOREVER to calm him down. (Its sweet, yet quite annoying!) When Adam gets home from work Brody cannot wait until Adam will hold him and play with him. He will just smile and watch him until Adam takes him from me (and gets mad if Adam is distracted and doesn't take him right away.) It is so cute though I absolutely love how much Brody loves his Daddy. In fact, the past weekend Adam went into Brody's room to get him up from his nap and Brody screamed with delight when he saw it was Adam and not me (all I get is a smile.)









I just love my two boys! They are so cute and totally cute when they play together!! I am so lucky to have two such wonderful boys!

Brodys 4 Month Appointment

People are always mentioning how tall Brody is. I have always agreed just didn't realize quite how tall until today.  He is 27 1/2 inches. The Doctor had to remeasure him because he thought that his nurse messed up.  But no she did it right, my child is just super long. Brody weighs 17 lbs which is in the 75% and this head is also 75%.  However his height is off the charts, he is the average height of a 8 month old!

We are also getting to start him on the rice cereal which I am super excited about because I am going to let Adam do this so they have their own thing since I mostly dominate Brody. So hopefully that will go well!

Brody is just so much fun and has such a cute personality!

He loves to stand and a majority of the time won't even sit! He loves to look around and is beginning to talk, very loud! He is such a happy baby. He is starting to somewhat roll over. He will have days where he continually will roll over, and then other days won't roll over at all. Brody is just so much fun and I feel so lucky that I have him in my life.

Brody and I just spent the last twelve days in Utah and had a BLAST!  Heather found out that Southwest Airlines was having a sale and so she decided that she wanted ME for her birthday, so Patrick bought her me (and Brody!)  It was fabulous!!  We went on a walk every morning basically which was so nice for me and it was Brodys first time outside during the day when it wasn't over 100 degrees.  One morning we went to the Thanksgiving Point gardens and it blew my mind, it was so beautiful!

 
Look at all these fish. Hunter brought Cheerios to feed them & Brody didn't have any trouble seeing them.

  On our flight to Utah the plane was not even half full which means Brody got two seats to himself and the full attention of the flight attendants.  They thought he was super cute and gave him this certificate for his first flight and a pair of wings! They were so sweet and I was grateful since I was worried about flying with him.

  Hunter was SO cute with Brody! Brody would always smile and watch Hunter and Cameron and thought they were a ton of fun.

Every car ride was quite interesting/entertaining. One of the boys was always crying. One time that they weren't it happened to be night time so Heather and I wanted to keep our boys from seeing. So I had to keep tickling Cameron and finally Hunter looks at me and tells me to stop and that I am bugging them. Then finally when I wake Cameron up (and he cries) Hunter just looked at me and glared. I think he was tired of all the crying.  But one drive we had was quiet.. cause the boys had fallen asleep, hence the picture above. SO CUTE!

While we were there we went to an Owls Game at UVU with David and Shannon and their kids. It was a lot of fun!! Before we went to the game we had dinner at JCW and it was delicious!

So yes I am obsessed with my little guy! :) But we had so much fun in Utah! Thank you Heather and Patrick for flying me up there and making it so much fun! & getting me hooked on Suits and introducing me to Red Velvet cookies!
