Lately

Life has been crazy fun lately. We are used to having cousins come and visit and then we are sad when they leave and have to adjust back to normal life. Yet, our new normal life consists of having cousins close that we get to see all the time!  My sister, Heather, and her family recently moved here and we are having SO much fun! Brody is loving having cousins around and I love watching him play with the boys and having my sister here. We have been going to the park a lot, the zoo, story time at the library and overall having tons of fun!!

We went to the Research Park and had lunch. After we fed this ducks. Brody was so into the ducks that I couldn't get him to turn around to look at me.

We love to make cookies with our cousins. Although the boys just like to eat them.

We love that our cousins live here with us now! We will have so much fun!! And can't wait until our other cousins come and visit!!!

We also have been doing lots of Easter celebrations! Growing up we would always do a treasure hunt for Easter and at the end would be our Easter present. Of course we have been keeping up this tradition. Yesterday, we hid the clues for the boys while they were taking a nap. When they woke up they were very excited to go and do each of their hunts.  Adam helped Brody with us clues so that I could take pictures!

Later, we went swimming, had a barbeque and then colored Easter eggs. Brody was quite confused at the fact that he got to color on the eggs. He would color for about two minutes and then slam the egg on the table, good thing they were boiled.






This morning when Brody woke up he was very excited to see all the Easter eggs throughout the house. At first he would just grab an egg open it and eat what was inside. Then once he realized that there were tons of them he was ecstatic.



I am just so grateful for my family and being able to celebrate Easter with them. I am grateful that Christ came to Earth to die for us so that we may live again. I am grateful for the Gospel and that my family is sealed for eternity! I can't wait to see Brody grow up and cannot wait to meet our new little girl any day now! :)
