January

After all the family left it took a bit for us to get back into routine. Although Brody still asks for his cousins at least four times a day.  So we have been trying to keep ourselves busy!

 

We have loved going to the zoo and enjoying the nice weather!

 He loves to take bubble baths. If you look in these pictures you can see in the left (beginning of January) one that his tooth is a little higher than the one on the right (end of January.)

 We have had fun getting baby girls bedroom ready. Although, we still haven't figured out her name, which is driving me CRAZY we are very anxious and excited for her arrival.

 We go grocery shopping.

Adam gave Brody his little pez dispenser and he thought it was so strange that the candy just kept coming out.

We went and had lunch with my mom at the my old elementary school when she taught there one day.

 

 Went to the park.

 Played with daddy's work hat.

 Went to the park to watch Josh's football practice and play with Zach.

Then went to McDonald's after for ice cream. My dad said he would share with Brody and eventually gave Brody the cone. Which was the first time that Brody has ever gotten his own cone and went a little crazy. But it was cute! We love that we live so close to grandparents and that he gets to have a personal relationship with them.

Halloween

Yes, Halloween was months ago and I am just now posting, but oh well.  Halloween was lots of fun! Brody is obsessed with turtles. So when we went to visit my sister in Utah she mentioned that she had a turtle costume so I knew it was meant to be.  He was so cute and I loved seeing him in it. 

 We decided to take him to a few houses to trick or treat. He took a couple houses to warm up and understand (somewhat) what was going on.  Once he got the hang of it he would walk up to the people, smile, grab a piece of candy, say thank- you and walk away. It was so hilarious to watch him and he face light up once he realized he was getting candy! 

Brody also thought handing out candy was lots of fun, especially all the different costumes. 

 

Brody loves to hang out with his Grandpas.  As soon as we pull into my parents neighborhood or my Grandpa's neighborhood he gets so excited and just repeats their names, over and over.

 

Brody is a great errand buddy. I mean look at how happy he is just to hold my hairspray. How could he not be so fun!

He loves our pantry and always climbs on this shelf and hides. 

Every year around Halloween we go to Schnepf Farms with my whole family. It so way fun, not as fun as Cornbelly's though.  

 

 The next morning we woke up and went out to Desert Botanical Gardens for their Pumpkin Patch Festival with my Aunt Shauna, her husband and kids and Adams mom. Definitely something we will be doing each year!

Brody got a little peace tattoo while we were waiting in line. He was so confused by it and just kept picking a it.

 After that we headed to the Museum of Flame. They had carnival type games, you were able to go on look around the firetrucks and ambulances, go on a ride of a vintage fire truck and other fun stuff.

 Overall, we had a blast in October, lots of activities and lots of fun!
